Two types of water sources exist that we treat—City/county water and well water. City & County water problems are for the most part different from well water so we distinguish between them for the explanation of our product line.

Description:
This is a two tank system designed to reduce the grains per gallon of hardness in your water. One tank completes the treatment, while the other tank, a brine tank, houses salt. Salt is required to regenerate the main tank’s media to complete the actual water treatment. There is a metered control valve at the top of the “treatment” tank with tubing that connects the two tanks. |

Water Problems This System Treats:
1. This system treats water that has a significant amount of hardness to warrant a system. If a water sample has 2 or more grains per gallon of hardness, we recommend a water softener.
2. Our Water Softeners will also frequently be recommended if the water has a large amount of iron because it will effectively aid an Iron Removal System in filtering out all of the iron.
3. Water Softeners are also effective for removing Manganese. |
