Convenient Brass Bypass Valve
McLean’s easy to use bypass valve can direct
unfiltered water past the filter for lawn sprinkling
or for
servicing unit.

Here is why you should discover the McLean

A. Rugged, Solid Brass, Motorized Piston Valve. No cheap plastic here. Bring on the iron,
manganese, corrosion, scale, hard water. This valve keeps on performing
year after trouble-free year. Handles water pressure up to 125 psi.
Every cycle can be programmed to fit exact water conditions. Thrifty on
energy and water, using as little as 30 gallons per backwash. Its own
built-in bypass provides water during backwash process. Full one-inch
porting for superior flow characteristics.
B. Convenient Guest Switch. Provides an extra supply of
filtered water whenever you wish. Having people over for the weekend?
Just turn the switch.
C. Fiberglass Reinforced Mineral Tank. No rust or corrosion
possible.
D. McLean Media. Has the ability to collect iron and elevate the pH
of
acid water. A portion of the media is self-sacrificing when the raw
water has a low pH. Periodic replenishment will be required if you
have acid or manganese present in the water.
E. Distributor Tube and Collector. One-inch diameter for less
pressure drop. Self-cleaning collector screen provides large
surface area for iron-free water to exit and superb backwash
capabilities.
F. Washed Quartz Underbed. Provides extra filtration and
enables proper cleaning of filter media.
G. Self-Adjusting Base. Filter
is more efficient when
vertical. Base design compensates for
unlevel floors.
